Terms and Conditions

Introduction

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  1. Country refers to: United Kingdom.

  2. Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Rosa Audio Ltd.

  3. Organisers refers to Rosa Audio Ltd and third party contractors associated with organising and running the event.

  4. Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

  5. Service refers to the Website

  6. Terms and Conditions (also referred as “Terms”) mean these Terms and Conditions that form the entire agreement between you and the company regarding the use of the service. 

  7. Website refers to the company site, accessible from  http://www.rosafestival.co.uk.

  8. You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Acknowledgement

  • These are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this Service and the agreement that operates between You and the Company. These Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of all users regarding the purchase of tickets.
  • Your access to and use of the Service and the purchase of Your ticket is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all persons who purchase a ticket, of which are available from authorised ticket agents. Please read these Terms carefully before purchase of Your ticket.
  • By purchasing Your ticket You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If You disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions then the Company reserves the right to refuse access to the festival.
  • Your access to and use of the Service is also conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with the  Privacy Policy {" "} of the company. Our  Privacy Policy {" "} describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your personal information when You use the application or the website and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You. Please read Our Privacy Policy carefully before using Our service.

1. Tickets & Admission

  1. 1.1 To aid the security, safety and comfort of all guests, the Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to or evict from site if these conditions are not met.
  2. 1.2 Upon booking Your ticket(s) through the e-commerce platform Stripe, You are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. You will be emailed a Booking Confirmation. This is NOT Your ticket. E-tickets will be sent in a follow up email at a time closer to the festival.
  3. 1.3 No admission without a valid e-ticket.
  4. 1.4 Upon admission the Organisers reserve the right to conduct bag searches to ensure no prohibited items are present and check identification to clarify ticket holders are over the age of 18. Please read  3. Safety & Security {" "} for more information on how to ease Your admission to the festival.
  5. 1.5 It is Your responsibility to check Your ticket for mistakes as these may not be rectified after purchase. Upon receipt of your ticket, please ensure to check all details and get in touch as soon as possible if You notice a mistake.
  6. 1.6 A standard ticket is only valid from Friday 7th July – Monday 10th July.
  7. 1.7 When purchasing tickets You will be asked to enter some personal data such as name, email, phone number etc. For information on how we use Your data please view Our  Privacy Policy .
  8. 1.8 All tickets are non-refundable except if the festival is cancelled, for which we will refund the face value of the ticket. If the event is postponed for any reason ticket holders will be notified of the rescheduled date – ticket holders can then either use their ticket for admission to the festival on the new date or apply for a refund via email.  Refund requests must be made by the person who originally purchased the ticket. Further details will be released if this is the case.
  9. 1.9 Clause 1.8 also refers to the event being cancelled or postponed due to COVID-19.
  10. 1.10 Unless otherwise agreed by the Organisers, a ticket will not be exchanged or refunded: (a) after the festival has started, it is stopped for any reason and is not completed; (b) if on any day of the festival, the start time is delayed for any reason; (c) the start time (but not the date) of the festival changes after the date the ticket was purchased; or (d) the ticket has been used for admission.
  11. 1.11 We reserve the right to make alterations to the details of the event, including the time, date, duration and venue of the festival in the event of unforeseen or other circumstances, including safety and security concerns or decisions from authorised persons or other competent authority. This list is not comprehensive and subsequent reasoning could also result in alterations.
  12. 1.12 Tickets are in the form of e-ticket QR codes and will be scanned upon entry; once scanned these will be exchanged for a wristband.
  13. 1.13 The first scanned ticket to arrive at the event will be allowed entry; any subsequent ticket with the same QR code will be denied access. The Organisers accept no responsibility or liability for any inconvenience caused by the unauthorised duplication of a ticket. Do not post images of Your e-ticket on social media.
  14. 1.14 Wristbands must be worn for the duration of the event. If caught without a wristband may You face eviction from the site.
  15. 1.15 Admission to the event is at the ticket holder’s own risk. The Organisers will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons or third parties.
  16. 1.16 Traders are not entitled to guest list tickets - Access to the site will be limited to employees of traders only.
  17. 1.17 Artists chosen to perform via the artist application form are not entitled to guest list tickets - successful applicants are entitled to one weekend camping ticket. Collectives or bands will receive one free ticket per member.

2. Age Policy

  • 2.1 Persons under the age of 18 are strictly not permitted to enter the event. Rosa Festival will operate a challenge 25 policy on the festival gates before tickets are checked in – any persons who cannot present valid identification that proves your age when asked will be denied admission.
  • 2.2 Challenge 25 will be operating at the bar. If you are planning on purchasing alcohol and believe you may look under 25, valid identification that proves your age will be required.
  • 2.3 Any identification found to be either not Your own or fake will be confiscated along with your ticket. No refunds will be issued.

3. Safety & Security

  • 3.1 The Organisers reserve the right to evict or refuse admission of a customer without refund if a customer is found to: (a) be disruptive of the event or any other customer’s time at the event, including aggressive behaviour, insulting language or any behaviour that may lead to a breach of the peace; (b) resist confiscation of prohibited items; (c) fail to present valid identification when asked or (d) have failed to meet these conditions.
  • 3.2 Rosa Festival will operate a search operation upon entry to the festival, and The Organisers reserve the right to confiscate any items that are not permitted at the event.
  • 3.3 For the safety of others Rosa Festival has a No Drugs Policy which will be enforced, including the possession, consumption or sale of illegal drugs, including ‘legal highs’.
  • 3.4 Other prohibited items include, but are not limited to: knives or other weapons, glass (including bottles), fireworks, flares, spray cans, laser equipment.
  • 3.5 The list above is not exhaustive and the Organisers reserve the right to confiscate any other item deemed potentially dangerous or harmful to others.
  • 3.6 No fires permitted. To ensure the safety of others, please enjoy the designated fire pit area rather than creating Your own.
  • 3.7 Please ensure to pitch tents a minimum of 2 metres apart to reduce risks imposed by fires.
  • 3.8 Please do Your utmost to respect both the environment and residents of the surrounding area, as well as contractors and services provided at the event. This includes the toilets. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and anyone found acting in a way deemed unacceptable will be immediately ejected without refund.
  • 3.9 Pyrotechnics, lasers and smoke machines may take place during performances.
  • 3.10 Prolonged exposure to high levels of sound may cause damage to hearing.

4. Parking

  • 4.1 Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk, the Organisers will not be held liable for any loss or damage however caused.
  • 4.2 Vehicles are only permitted to park if the driver presents a valid parking pass for Rosa Festival 2024. Parking passes can be purchased on our website or upon arrival at our site.
  • 4.3 Vehicles will not be allowed on site beyond the carpark located outside of the entrance gate. Ticket holders will be allowed to enter and exit the car park as they please, however will not be allowed back on site without a valid wristband.
  • 4.4 Campervans are permitted and will be directed to an allocated pitch within the campervan campsite.
  • 4.5 Sleeping in cars is not permitted. Please bring a tent for camping.
  • 4.6 Parking spaces will be allocated upon arrival.

5. General

  • 5.1 Unless required or permitted by law to do otherwise, personal information provided by You to the Company will only be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any consents given by You in relation to Your personal information. Please read Our  Privacy Policy {" "} before purchasing a ticket.
  • 5.2 Please use the bins provided and respect the environment.
  • 5.3 The performer line-up is subject to change at any time.
  • 5.4 Any lost property at the end of the festival will be taken by Rosa Audio Ltd – if You lost something get in contact and Rosa Audio Ltd via email at team@rosafestival.co.uk and We will arrange its return via post. Postal charges will be covered by the ticket holder.
  • 5.5 Rosa Audio Ltd accepts no responsibility for goods or services purchased from third party traders.
  • 5.6 By entering the festival site You agree to grant Rosa Audio Ltd permission to use your image in any publicity, marketing or promotional materials.
  • 5.7 Filming and photography is permitted at the event for personal use, however we ask that You observe data protection law and remain respectful to other persons at the event.
  • 5.8 Rosa Audio Ltd reserves the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be updated immediately on the official website:  http://www.rosafestival.co.uk.
  • 5.9 If a dispute arises out of the Conditions, Rosa Audio Ltd will attempt to settle it via consultation or negotiation in good faith, and attempt to reach a just and equitable settlement agreed on by both parties within 21 days.

6. Accessibility

  • 6.1 We strongly advise you to plan your journey in advance before travelling to Rosa Festival. The site is in a remote location (in the High Peak) so adequate planning will ensure you find the location with ease.
  • 6.2 Rosa Festival is located at Kenslow Farm (Scriviton Manor Farm Holdings), Middleton-by-Youlgrave, Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 1LY.
  • 6.3 Please make your best efforts to car share when making your way to the festival to help reduce environmental impact.
  • 6.4 The nearest train stations are Grindleford and Eyam located a 10 minute drive away. A taxi service will need to be arranged from stations to the site – roads have no footpaths therefore walking is not advised. More information will be released via email to ticket holders closer to the time of the event.
  • 6.5 On site there will be access to drinking water, campfires, food and drink stalls, bins and skips for waste disposal and toilets.
  • 6.6 There will be access to disabled toilets on site. If you require the use of disabled toilets please let us know in advance so we can arrange a suitable camping spot in which they are easier to access.

7. Volunteers

  • 7.1 Volunteers will be informed of their roles and responsibilities prior to the event and via a briefing when on site. Volunteers are expected to fulfil these responsibilities to an adequate level whilst on shift.
  • 7.2 Volunteers are to pay a deposit equivalent to that of a discounted early bird ticket in return for a weekend admission and camping ticket for Rosa Festival 2024. Deposits will be refunded following the festival if the volunteers efforts were deemed adequate. 
  • 7.3 Rosa Audio reserves the right to withhold deposits from volunteers if efforts to fulfil said responsibilities are deemed inadequate.
